"Mel Arvin's Living Room" - by Martha Durke

Showing April 2nd - May 31, 2010:
Robot Art Gallery's April/May show will feature a debut collection of digital prints by designer Martha Durke. Her repeating pattern designs merge with collected and original imagery to reveal connections between people and their places, art and everyday objects, trends and traditions, and ultimately, the timelessness of beauty.

"Gifts of Omegaman" - by Mateo Jaimes

"What I would really hope to convey in my paintings is that there is a gift out there for all of us, available each day of our lives: the fragrance of springtime, closing your eyes and feeling the sunshine on your face, accidentally bumping into a friend on the street. Robot Art Gallery's May show will feature paintings by Austin artist Mateo Jaimes. Mateo uses layers of acrylics and oils on wood panel to capture the small, often unnoticed gifts of beauty that surround us everyday.

Robot Art Gallery's February show will feature pen and ink drawings by Austin, Texas artist Laura Glaess.  Laura uses swift, relaxed lines and exaggerated figures to express the frame, movement and spirit of Lindy Hop.

Robot Art Gallery's November and December Show show will feature hand-woven fiber sculptures by local artist Susan Oaks.  Susan uses a coiling and wrapping technique to create contemporary shapes without conscious preplanned form.

"Girls Room" with "Wild Boys"

Showing October 2007:
In conjunction with Southtown's Fall Art Walk, Robot Art Gallery will exhibit a group show featuring the  work of local artists Kim Bishop, Bryson Brooks, Katherine Brown, Holly Hein, Myriam Lanau, Ethan Moore and Pepper Raefin. The artists use various media including sculpture and painting to express their emotions and personality through their diverse styles.
